UTM Tracking Script for Marketo
Digital Pi has done the heavy lifting so that you can implement UTM tracking in your own Marketo instance. Use the form to configure your own copy of this script customized for your Marketo environment. A link to download your customized script will be emailed to you.
There are a few parameters available to customize the script for your environment.
- utm_medium field (required)
- The SOAP API name of the Marketo field you want to use to store utm_medium values.
- utm_source field (required)
- The SOAP API name of the Marketo field you want to use to store utm_source values.
- utm_campaign field (required)
- The SOAP API name of the Marketo field you want to use to store utm_campaign values.
- utm_content field (optional)
- The SOAP API name of the Marketo field you want to use to store utm_content values. This field is optional as not everyone wants to track this value.
- utm_term field (optional)
- The SOAP API name of the Marketo field you want to use to store utm_term values. This field is optional as not everyone wants to track this value.
- utm_adgroup field (optional)
- The SOAP API name of the Marketo field you want to use to store utm_adgroup values. This field is optional as not everyone wants to track this value.
- Original utm_medium (required)
- The SOAP API name of the Marketo field you want to use to store the first value received for utm_medium. Once written, this field should never be overwritten.
- Original utm_source (required)
- The SOAP API name of the Marketo field you want to use to store the first value received for utm_source. Once written, this field should never be overwritten.
